Sen Hillary Rodham Clinton for Anonymous President

Senator Hillary Rodham ClintonIt doesn’t matter if she is referred to as Hillary or Hillary Clinton or Hillary Rodham Clinton any number of other names that have been used to reference her. She is still the same person. But according to the brief article below published in a Canadian news service, Hillary just wants to be known as Hillary with no maiden or married name associated with her. It would be understandable that she would want to distance herself from Bill Clinton although she invoked his ‘celebrity’ to initiate her campaign. But why does she not wish to be connected with her immediate family? Does she have something else to hide? She has had several cocoon remakes of late. First, she wanted to be known to be as tough as her male colleagues. Then she wanted to show her softer side. Must have seen to many old Sears’ commercials. Then she did not want to appease her base and admit voting for authorizing the use of the armed forces in Iraq. It’s not just Hillary, it’s a new person every day. At her website she would like you to believe that she is ahead of everyone, preferred by everyone and imply that an election is not even necessary. But she does want you to forget about impeachment. She wants you to remember the ‘good’ Bill and forget the ‘bad’ Bill. Will she find a way to ask you to forget the ‘bad’ Hillary Rodham Clinton, former First Lady in the William Jefferson Clinton Administration? She wants you to forget Whitewater and Vince Foster and bragging about spending $29 million to defeat a sacrificial lamb opponent in her last election.Just like Al Gore wants you to forget the excesses of his own lifestyle while he asks you to do your part for the environment. Hillary wants you to forget her weaknesses and simply focus on just ‘Hillary’, no past, no present and if there is any justice in the world, no future.

WASHINGTON - In the beginning she was just Hillary Rodham of Arkansas. In the White House, she became Hillary Rodham Clinton. Then it was Hillary Clinton and, lately, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton. But just when it seemed her political identity crisis was finally over, Hillary Clinton has turned the tables on American voters once again. As she seeks to become the country’s first female president, Clinton wants to be known to supporters simply as ‘Hillary’ - no married name or maiden name necessary.
