Hillary Rodham Clinton attended an annual luncheon hosted by Emily’s List. The same luncheon that Barack Obama attended last year. But there was no report last year of the members of Emily’s List producing a video of Barack Obama becoming President. But they had one for Hillary this year. More on that later in the post.

Why would Hillary Rodham Clinton endorse gay adoption quietly? Because she wants the to have her cake and eat it too. Suck up to the gay community for more votes but do it quietly enough so as not to upset the religious right. And yet numerous reports and polls are quoted indicating people would have a hard time voting for Mitt Romney because he is Mormon. And the first Catholic President was a Democrat. Maybe that is why the surefire path to an argument is discussing politics and religion.

This story in the Concord Monitor, aside from other state political news, indicates House Majority Leader Mary Jane Wallner has endorsed Hillary Rodham Clinton for President. Wallner also endorsed Howard Dean early in the last Presidential primary. Could this be a bad omen for Clinton and a good one for the rest of us? Wallner said she had been waiting for a woman candidate she could get behind. Others prefer to wait and see until later in the campaign to decide candidate endorsements. That would be smart.
