We need to crackdown on employers who knowingly hire illegal immigrants. That’s why we must have an employer verification system in place so employers can identify who is here legally and who is not.

Stem cell research has the potential to help find cures for some of life’s most devastating diseases such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, diabetes, heart disease, multiple sclerosis, and spinal cord injury.
While the Congress Blog and Pundits Blog at The Hill (thehill.com) have their limitations, it is a convenient place to view opinions, commentary and political sound bites from politicians and various ‘allowed’ sources from varying persuasions.
If we have a complaint with the format it is merely the restrictions on who can post and who can comment. Okay, so the Hill does not want things to degrade like some crazed chat room from the fringe. But at that same time, using a process that decides who is worthy of admittance can remind one of the bouncers at the velvet rope of an ‘exclusive’ nite club.
We like to think of these blogs as blogger fodder. A great place to harvest ideas for your next post or to point your research for a somber note to your elected officials. Is it more than a protected environment for political speak? It probably doesn’t matter where you view information presented by politicians and special interest. It will all be crafted for the same purpose. Your job is to read through the spin and have a take to share with others.
