Mitt Romney: What’s Not to Like?
The best thing this guy could say about Mitt Romney is, ‘free of scandal’. No one has yet come up with any campaign crushing scandals about Mitt Romney. It would be something that no opponent would intentionally withhold so maybe there is nothing forthcoming on the scandal bomb. That is the single most impressive part of Mitt Romney so far. No scandals or negative aspects that would damage a campaign or a Presidency. That is something you don’t see every day. But we should.
That is what is most disappointing about politics. They have been so bad for so long we almost accept the fact that a clean candidate is not in the cards. Since this blog still favors Mitt Romney as the best all around choice for President, not having any scandals surface is a good reason to be optimistic.

Young: Mitt’s chances improve with ‘immigration’
By Peter B. Young/Local columnistMon May 21, 2007, 12:17 AM EDTFar be it from me to downplay or downgrade in any way Mitt Romney’s chances in next year’s quadrennial Presidential Derby. That said, most Massachusetts Democrats will tell you that regardless of their own personal views on the man, our former Republican governor is always a formidable candidate. And he is never more formidable than when he finds a critical issue that he is uniquely equipped to exploit.
He may have found that issue in the current free-for-all over so-called “comprehensive immigration reform.”
But before we get to that, tick off these obvious Romney assets: He is (1) rich, (2) free of scandal, (3) articulate, (4) disciplined, (5) leader of a splendid family, (6) movie star handsome, and the list goes on.

I believe we’ve heard from a Romney fan.

I like the fact that Mr. Romney has good family values, because my family is most importent to me. I hope he is our next President to preserve the wonderful freedoms we enjoy.

Mitt Romney: What’s Not to Like?…

A Rasmussen Report listed here elsewhere indicates Clinton leading Romney and undeclared Thompson by a few points a piece. They called it ‘Clinton leads’ and while technically correct, missed the point. Romney came from back quite a distance and Thompson has’t declared.
That is why we called it Clinton being overtaken by R & T.
Romney could be the real deal. As the story says, formidable opponent, strong family man, smart, disciplined and rich, with no known scandals and no reason to think there is one.

I’ve known Mitt for 42 years. There are no scandals to be found. Ted Kennedy tried in 1994 with no success because there was no dirt to dig up. His life has been squeaky clean since then, as it always is. Mitt is the real deal!

As of this weekend – He has my vote. I could not and will not support McCain and his blanket amnesty.

I’m waiting to here Mitt Romney’s interview with Michael Savage. Whywon’t he go on air with Michael? If he is a true conservative with nothing to hide, I’m waiting to hear his voice on the air with Michael Savage.

I’m not a big fan of Savage. The only talk radio (national) I view as useful is Hannity.

Mitt Romney is really the only candidate that can help this country in all the issues we need a good leader for. Think of him as the only one smart enough and capable enough of multi-tasking. I hope all will give him a real look. If he is not elected we are in for big trouble in this country.

I concur with Patricia that Romney should have an interview Michael Savage. I also think Romney or Thomson would be able to defeat any of the socialist candidates that hide under the once respectable democrat title.
