Sen Barbara Boxer’s California Amnesty

Sen Barbara BoxerBarbara Boxer and PBS in a report below are wrong. KPBS is wrong for using a title crediting Boxer with an attempt to kill the guest worker program. It gives the impression she opposes guest worker programs. Barbara Boxer only opposes guest worker programs that omit special treatment for California. California politicians expressed their interest in a million and a half illegal immigrant exception for California a long time ago. Immigration reform is fine by Cal politicians as long as it doesn’t upset special interest in California.

Boxer insists she is only representing her constituents as she hears them crying they don’t know how they are going to make ends meet without breaking the law. So Boxer is intent on amnesty to instantly make illegal not illegal. If California ag can’t compete without being illegal they should stop trying to compete or look to other solutions to their inability to succeed at the desired level. Perhaps all the artificial supports for agriculture in California indicate a bloated industry with too many participants chasing demand. If you thin that state’s ag industry there may be adequate profit for those remaining to not require violating the law to stay afloat.
