Hillary, Illegals and More Sex
Oh the joy of reading reviews on the Dems debate. While some reports suggest John Edwards ’shined’ at this debate his numbers are so weak it helps the GOP side of things. Sure, plenty of front runners in the past ran out of steam in the early primaries and caucus events to allow a lower tier challenger to move up. But the odds currently do not suggest that Obama and Edwards would place first and second after the first vote or two. But those odds may improve significantly if Hillary Rodham Clinton’s performance this week becomes her norm.
While her campaign favors the ‘centrist’ view and strategy, Hillary Rodham Clinton is so far out in left field she bungled her response to the immigration issue. Specifically, giving driver’s licenses to illegal immigrants and in the ‘out of the shadows’ minefield.

The statement above may be a stretch but there is no doubt HRC, aka, the Queen of Cringe will now have to direct attention away from her protected campaign practices that limit the discussion. Her strategy to act as if she is the nominee took a hit this week. And the recurring theme of her husband’s history and the word ’sex’ is floating around again.

But, you may recall that President Gerald Ford was criticized for pardoning Richard Nixon and received way too much press on some clumsy moments like tripping on the golf course. Surprising lack of grace for a former Michigan football player. Point is, many regard Gerald Ford as one of the most noble politicians to ‘grace’ Washington in a very long time. Honesty and integrity are popular terms used to describe this American. We could use more of that.

This site is by definition anti Hillary so I suppose it’ s a bit much to expect some realism. Last night she engaged in combat with seven guys who were all trying to stick it to her. They failed. We’d perhaps be better advised to welcome the fact that the only people who saw it are about 2 million politics junkies watching a third rank cable station. The fact is she did well in the circumstances and based on the reaction I’ve seen from a few Republican women who saw it I’d say she did herself some good with women voters in general. All these women thought it was piling on particularly by Russert. Just a report from the real world.

Did you watch network news this evening? Your statement seems at odds with what was suggested on all three broadcast networks. And even as someone who does not support Clinton, this post suggests it will not vault her two main Dem opponents to 1st and 2nd.
Earlier posts here made mention of Mark Penn’s belief that every campaign must confront a career ending mistake. This wasn’t it. But it could be the preview.

Apparently to some who have posted here, the reality of what Hillary really said escaped their pro Hilly at any cost fuzzy logic… Like it or not in three sentenced she was for Illegal licenses, against it, and on the fence… Regarding the proposed tax rape of the middle class by Rangel.. Fence sitting.. On Iran ???? let’s se what by the week-end..
So having a person so either uninformed to discuss any subject.. or unwilling to stand for something, or so scripted as to be unable to THINK.. is this CIC material??? I think not.
Kusinich , as much as a fruit loop that he is, at least Stands on his beliefs..Dodd at least took a stand on Immigration, Biden, well he’s still old Biden enough said, Richardson was campaigning for an appintment, Jon Boy and Barack better get their artillery out or thay’ll be Toast…
