Domingo leads Pavarotti tributes

Fellow tenor Placido Domingo has led tributes to opera superstar Luciano Pavarotti, who has died aged 71.

The singer died at his home in Modena, northern Italy, after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2006.

“I always admired the God-given glory of his voice,” said Domingo, who performed with Pavarotti in the Three Tenors concerts for over 10 years.

There are a number of well-deserved quotes from notable talents within the article referenced above. Offered in memory of an incredible human being, Luciano Pavarotti. The reason this blog avoids any tributes in memory of anyone’s passing is the effort feels inadequate. That is certainly the case here but a compelling life, such as that of Luciano Pavrotti, requires taking that chance. His obvious contributions to his art as well as his incredible talent and the genuine reaction to his special connection with the world is too rare to not be missed.
