That would seriously limit or eliminate the number of people who can testify. While flaws are the first target of an attorney to discredit a witness it remains that the validity of most testimony can be measured. Voter fraud seems to be more of a legal issue than a social one. The point you are trying to make with an analogy on the time that passed since Moncrief worked with ACORN and McCain's length of time in the Senate escapes me. Are you suggesting allegations of voter fraud diminish in their importance solely on the basis of how much time has passed? I'm guessing your 'focus on the real social issues' refers to one's you find important. That's fine, but there are many issues to address and limiting the focus would limit the opportunity to solve them.
