If employers are not held responsible with severe penalties not much else will matter. I can't stress enough the importance of letting your congressman and senators know your position on this issue. It does matter. They will notice with 2008 around the corner. My hometown has drafted an ordinance like Hazelton, PA and have consulted with them. Those hiring illegals would have their license revoked, i.e., be shutdown. But we still have to fight the local bleeding hearts on this. Ya, the same ones that will whine the most if their life is adversely affected by their own foolish viewpoints.
