Dems Like DNC Scripted Debates
It is good that with an early campaign season for the 2008 Presidential election that the Democrats are the first ones to show the American electorate that election debates are a scam. Edwards, then Clinton and Obama have announced that they will not attend the debate sponsored by Fox News and Congressional Black Caucus Political Education and Leadership Institute. Clinton’s campaign explained they would only be attending six debates all sanctioned by the DNC. Go figure. Something smells again.

So it is again a safe bet the debates attended by major candidates from major parties will be off limits to any other candidates and be scripted down to the last detail to eliminate the chance candidates would not be able to stay on message. With the discussion scripted and all parties agreeing to conspire in presenting a fake debate, the voters will be short sheeted again. This is why we advocate Americans 4 Inclusive Debates. You can find the logo/link in the sidebar. Spreading the word on the idea of inclusive and open true debates on the issues is crucial to the principles of honest campaigns and elections. With the slick snake oil salesman marketing used by the multimillion dollar campaigns these days, an open, honest and inclusive debate not rigged with a script and rules conspired behind close doors is necessary to attempt to get at the truth behind each candidate.

Obama, Clinton to Skip Fox-Backed Debate
By JIM KUHNHENN 04.09.07, 7:06 PM ET
Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton will not participate in a Democratic debate co-hosted by Fox News Channel this fall, campaign aides indicated Monday.
The decision by the two Democratic presidential candidates follows an announcement last week by John Edwards, another White House contender, that he would forgo the Fox event.
Obama and Clinton aides said they intended to participate in six debates sanctioned by the Democratic National Committee. The DNC’s list did not include the Fox News-CBC Institute debate, a concession to liberal and black activists who say Fox has slighted blacks and is biased in favor of conservatives.

If they are afraid that Brit Hume, who is very fair in his interviews and questions, and no political dummy, will throw them a curveball that’s too right for them to answer, they have no business running for public office higher than dog catcher.
Cowards.

You’ll get no argument outta me. Their arragance to cheat the public out of honest debate and even tell them they won’t debate except at DNC sanctioned venues is admitting it is essentailly rigged. Ane the media that agrees with their terms are nothing more than profit grabbing co-conspirators.
Don’t know how successful it will be, but that is why we put the Americans 4 Inclusive Debates logo and blogroll in the sidebar. This was one easy contribution to posting related articels in the topic of debates.
Thanks for stoppin’
