From Obama, Clinton, Dueling Ideas of Change

Just ahead of the silly overdone abusing music for liberal whinefest inspired by the inventor of the internet and self-proclaimed savior of the planet, Obama decides to invoke an equally worn out cliche. He speaks politely of Bill Clinton and then spanks his wife with the lame statement that Hillary Rodham Clinton is the past and Obama is the future. He’s right about one thing. She’s been around and he has not. The really lame part is he is trying to cover up the fact he has no track record. He has an itsy bitsy teenie weenie bit of experience. So liberal logic suggests describing your lack of anything to offer as new. He’s wrong on that point too. We’ve had plenty of nothing to offer before and currently.

The only noticeable change in Washington happens when one politician replaces another politician. That’s it. That’s the change. There are a given number of designated offices e.g., President, VP, Representatives in the House, Senators, staff, etc., etc. Every year a given number of bills are passed. Every year more money is spent. Every year taxpayers and the rest of the country are further in debt. Every year Democrats criticize Republicans. Every year Republicans criticize Democrats. Every year lobbyists unfairly influence politicians. Every year the public becomes more apathetic. So what the hell kind of change are either of these candidates suggesting. One was in the White House for 8 years and look what happened. She then found a Senate district where people were foolish enough to elect her, twice. The other one has little experience and proves it by his latest strategy described in the article below.

Hillary Rodham Clinton’s most notable experience is not taking a strong stand on anything useful. Failing on the only reasonable initiative she and her husband ever presented. Being the subject of a grand jury investigation about the Whitewater scandal. And being indifferent or powerless to prevent her husband from dishonoring the White House and the office he held with sexual misconduct.

Barack Obama has no experience. It appears he is capable of impressing the audiences in front of whom he speaks. His song on YouTube was better than Hillary Rodham Clinton’s silly and meaningless search for a campaign song. The issues on which he has presented positions are nothing new. So his claim to be the future of change is has no foundation. It has no anything. It is merely a campaign slogan. It shows he is not a serious candidate.

The bottom line is Edwards, Obama and Clinton offer no inspiring proposals but are steadfast on amnesty and antiwar themes. They express no legitimate concern over allowing anyone to enter this country. They show no interest in finishing a fight and continuing to victory. So you have to ask yourself what they would do if elected? If you do not find that to be a scary proposition then you are not paying attention.

One candidate of questionable character who had plenty of time to accomplish something impressive and has not. One with little experience who cares more about his hair than national issues. And one with no experience intent on skipping that part and moving right into the top job. It may be especially good that the campaign season will be very long.

From Obama, Clinton, Dueling Ideas of Change

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa, July 4 — Sen. Barack Obama (Ill.) took aim at his main Democratic presidential rival during his July 4 campaign swing through Iowa, saying that “change can’t just be a slogan” — days after Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (N.Y.) introduced her new slogan, “Ready for Change, Ready to Lead.”Obama has long cast himself as part of the future of politics, in contrast with a Clinton era that he portrays as part of a divisive past.

But Obama had a ready target on Wednesday: Both Clintons were campaigning nearby in Iowa, their first swing together. Bill Clinton repeatedly introduced his wife with reminders of the 1990s. The former first lady embraced the role of virtual incumbent on their holiday-week tour, promising to restore conditions — in the economy and in the government — to the way they were during her husband’s administration.
