Pelosi\'s version of pay as you go mirrors those programs she lauds in her press release.... Medicare and Medicaid.

Claim it\'s paid for to pass the legislation and add new tax increases each year as they act shocked to discover annual shortfalls.

Our politicians truly live in a fantasy world unlike the real world you and I must live in. The Speaker's statements clearly indicate that she believes in "something for nothing" and that government programs that make dependents of us all are something to be proud of - as if Franklin D. Roosevelt wasn't a villain despite all of the wonderful press the Democratic party and the socialist - oriented media have given him.

If Speaker Pelosi is truly being honest that the 1990 page health care bill she announced will not add a dime to the deficit while expanding coverage for everyone and lowering cost for everyone too, then somewhere in that bill there must be a whoppingly huge tax increase that nobody has managed to find yet.

That last wouldn't surprise me at all by the way. NOBODY could possibly have had time to read all 1990 pages of legaleze in that bill in the short period of time since it has been released. I read 3,000 words per minute with a fairly good rate of comprehension, and I know it would take me a day or to to complete that task.
