Without debating what that means or how they determined it, if it is true and their implication was these voters shifted to independent, there is a reasonable chance they remain regular voters and get called independent. Point is, with a previous 70 million reg'd Dems and 45 million GOP'rs, if the GOP wins it is because of independents. The country may have just increased the number of independent voters.
