'“cannot create a war against an entire people in order to attempt to bring to justice the few who are responsible.”'

It may not be a case of moral equivalence, but it sure does follow the same line of thought/logic. Israel is "creating a war against an entire people," in the minds of Kucu, er Kucinich, terrorists and others with their minds bent by the alternate universe they force themselves to live in. It is not a reality in any true, way, shape or form, no?

By logic, if it were a war against an "entire people," the "people" he refers to would actually be the Israelis. If Israel was conducting a "war against an entire people" a ground assault or considerations of such would not be necessary...those missiles do not Have to be fired with concern for collateral damage. This whole situation is drawn out and is as it is because Israel and other Western minded nations have moral qualms regarding indiscriminate/wholesale murder; they/we are far from the "hate-mongers" that attack innocents deliberately.

Dennis and the rest have nothing to bitch about at the West/Israel unless they do completely flatten the "strip;" even then it could be consider defensible.

Nope, as usual, it is safest to attack those that you know are civilized (like Israel) with no fear of retribution. It is easiest to talk/condemn Israel and the West than it is to face some really, truly tough questions.

I could be mistaken but hasn't the One called for both sides to stop fighting? How original, sincere and dedicated to his one President at a time slogan is he. What would have been so tough about getting together with the current President and issuing a combined statement. One would expect both men to hold similar opinions on the matter as a President and President-elect of the US.

Or will Obama not disappoint his constituency by pursuing appeasement?

Obama is enjoying the sands of Hawaii preparing to take office in a couple of weeks. He has yet to comment on the escalating violence between Israel and Palestine.
