					<description>I was watching PBS and they were showing a documentary about trying to determine whether some large animals going extinct 12900 years ago was from an asteroid or comet hit or not.  No, it wasn't the story about the dinosaurs going away and why.

While explaining about the ice layers being like tree rings and other such details they were showing a graph of climate patterns and saying it can change very quickly like one period where they say the temperature was about 18 degrees F all the time and it was enough to generate an ice age or some such.  Point is they were making a good case against global warming or humans causing it.

Like many people when this whole craze started I thought, ya, the climate can as has changed over time.  And ya, I suppose we contribute to the effects of those changes at this point.  But I never expected anyone to blame us for the whole thing or go quite as nuts as they have over the idea. 

God must really be laughing over how goofy one of his creations can get.</description>
