No Pay Cuts for Military

Iwo JimaOf the several published stories so far on possible pay cuts for US troops with NATO in Kosovo, there is a shortage of information other than loss of a tax break and combat related pay grades may be the reason. But even if past and current regulations or US law requires this it is a lousy time to cut someone’s pay. As one soldier stated there are still bullets flying. Reason enough to leave the pay alone. BTW, what did Congress do the last time their pay was up for discussion?
