Pelosi: ‘This Legislation…to End the Iraq War’

Public enemy number one and two will continue to spew forth their Democratic party doctrine of ‘whatever it takes for 2008′ and try to camouflage it as ‘responsibility to the Constitution and to the American people’. Apparently their view of the American people does not include all citizens. For if it did, they would find a way to do what is right and present the facts in a manner and substance acceptable to all. That would require sacrifice from all concerned. If the troops can provide their sacrifice there is no reason the rest of us cannot abandon our petty differences to achieve success in Iraq, Afghanistan and here at home.

Speaker Pelosi speaks of the Constitution but by her actions it appears she has never read or understood it. Using their present tactics, Pelosi and Reid are advancing an agenda for 2008 without regard for the damage they cause before the election. The ‘wishes of the American people to end the Iraq war’ does not require that end to result in defeat. No sane person wants a war. But when there is a war, defeat is never the answer.
