Romney: Ask Me Anything
There were an abundance of reports out of Florida today on all the hot issues and the 2008 campaign. At Romney’s townhall type meeting in Jacksonville, all or most of the major issues were asked about. Iraq, the war on terror, immigration were on the menu. Not surprising was more inquiries on family values, including same sex marriage and faith. Tax cuts are just a common question that pales in comparison to other topics. How can we afford tax cuts with the massive national debt, deficits and bloated budgets.
Another report posted on this blog addressed the confusion on immigration as regards Romney’s position. The brief mention in this report supports our earlier estimate that Romney takes a stricter stance on immigration than other candidates and sees some details in the Senate bill that are acceptable. But the entire package, with the amnesty giveaway up front makes it totally unacceptable.
