Romney Speaks to Republican Supporters in Sioux City
A stronger America would be a welcome idea. A stronger military, economy and resetting our value system to the way it once was in a nearly universal way. Too much wholesale change and radical developments have distracted us from the strong culture molded over 200 years.
30 or 40 years ago the two income family strained the core component of society in this country. Having meals together. Going to church as a family. The days when Saturday was for working aournd the home. Sundays focused on family featuring church and leisure activities. Parents were involved in the schools and their children’s education. Health care was affordable and a good job could be found by those who wanted it.
Romney may be simply campaigning or he may genuinely understand that the simple and obvious failures in this society can be solved the old fashioned way. At least it would be a good start and have positive effects. We’ll see.
