Senator Harry Reid: Immigration Scam
f
Below is a press release from the increasingly annoying Senator Harry Reid. I was not impressed with Republican Majority Leadership in the last session of Congress but would take them back in a heartbeat compared to the person Rush Limbaugh refers to as Dingy Harry. And I rarely agree with Rush Limbaugh. That ought to tell you how rotten Harry Reid is as Senate Majority Leader.
Reid’s totally transparent partisan puffery and blatant attacks on his party opposition serve absolutely no purpose other than Harry Reid’s personal agenda. It is only surpassed by the personal political agenda of Speaker Nancy Pelosi for speed and quantity of mindless actions or Senator Ted Kennedy for his consistently bad ideas that seem to have been here for centuries.
The press release is political code for ‘let’s stick it to the American people again’ fellow colleagues. The dead giveaways are words like ‘reform’ and ‘comprehensive.’ The reform part is code for burying their true intentions to provide a boat load of money and amnesty for illegal aliens. The comprehensive part means they will spare no expense to appease our foreign law breaking invaders.
And then he has the audacity to openly support amnesty for all with the phrase, ‘bring millions of undocumented workers out of the shadows.’ Got a newsflash for ya Harry. They are not in the shadows and undocumented worker simply means illegal alien I suppose you PC-speaking elected lobbyists call murder and alternative end of life scenario. What’s your name for a bank robbery, hand posting a withdrawal?
We’re sorry for ya, Harry, but illegal immigration is illegal immigration. And amnesty is amnesty and violating law is violating law. Or do you really believe President Bill Clinton ‘never had sex with that woman.’
If all but one or two people who sponsored the lousy Strive Act voted against HR 4437 unless they weren’t in office in 2005, why should anyone believe it is any good for America. One has to believe that explains why the Strive Act is only good for politicians, corporations, illegal aliens and others who profit from illegal immigration. That includes the coyotes. If no one gets a break for violating federal law and that same federal law which already exists is enforced, there will be no immigration problem. Passing another law without enforcement will solve nothing except your ulterior motives, greed and corruption plus the fallacy of cheap votes.

Reid Welcomes Bush Engagement on Immigration, Cautions on Need to Clarify Details
WASHINGTON, April 9 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — Senate Majority Leader
Harry Reid released the following statement today in response to President
Bush’s remarks on immigration reform:
“Senate Democrats agree with President Bush that we must pass a
comprehensive immigration reform bill this year. The overwhelming majority
of Americans want to reform our broken immigration system so that we can
improve our border security and bring millions of undocumented workers out
of the shadows of our society.
While preliminary discussions with the White House have revealed many
areas of bipartisan agreement, Democrats do have concerns about the
workability of several elements of the administration’s recent draft
proposals to members of Congress. To win the support of Senate Democrats, a
comprehensive immigration bill must be tough, fair, and practical.
We look forward to working closely with the President on this issue of
mutual concern when the Senate takes up legislation the last two weeks of
May.”SOURCE Office of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid
