Taxpayers Pay Legal Fees for Clinton Scandal

Another old Clinton scandal that many would prefer to forget, especially the Clintons. But since this scandal involves campaign finance violaitons in the Clinton history, it is particularly relevant since Hillary and Bill are working on a White House encore presentation.
The case in a nutshell involves taxpayer-funded trade missions of the Department of Commerce during President Bill Clinton’s Administration in which seats on the missions were sold for campaign contributions. Judicial Watch used the Freedom of Information Act to request documents from Commerce related to the arrangements. Essentially, Commerce did what it could to impede the request. After Commerce put a $13,000 price tag on the docs, Judicial Watch filed suit.
The settlement, memoranda and depositions of key witnesses including whistleblowers are available from the Judicial Watch site as well as a Hillary Watch feature that presents timely updates to items about FEC fines, Clinton big donor problems and other campaign irregularities of Hillary Rodham Clinton.
Below are links to the sources mentioned above and one other about Commerce paying legal fees for this Clinton Scandal. Keep in mind that is taxpayer money being used for legal fees for politicians.
