It is incredible that no matter what Democratic party flaw is raised to the Dems they have an answer. Not a good answer, but an answer. Take foot-in-the-mouth Joe Biden, please (Sorry, Henny). And the answer from the Dems about Joe Biden’s tendency to produce gaffes comes complete with an insult to a GOP candidate who ran in the Presidential primaries of 2008, Mitt Romney.

Wade added: “I’ve never heard a voter say they wanted someone who was more scripted, more slick and who talks to me in sound bites. If they wanted stuffed shirts, we’d be preparing for an October debate with Mitt Romney.”

Mean-spirited with a chip on their shoulder is as appropriate a description of liberals as one can offer. It is not as if the reputation of Mr Biden was not earned and based on this report from the global fish wrap edition of the NYT (The Herald Tribune) curently being updated with more examples. And with the source being another incarnation of the NYT, liberals can rest assured they felt unable to ignore or reinvent this liberal persona.

And a human verbal wrecking crew. This is the fellow who nearly derailed his nascent presidential campaign last year by calling Obama bright and clean and articulate and who noted that you needed a slight Indian accent to walk into a Dunkin’ Donuts or 7-11 in Delaware.

Oh but it gets better. The man who referred to Mitt Romney as a stuffed shirt is one of two Dems responsible for keeping Biden from producing gaffes. How are they doing so far? Well, he already told the world Hillary Clinton would have been a better VP than he would. Added to that Barack Obama should have selected her. And while in Columbia, MO at an event he shouted to State Senator Chuck Graham who is in a wheelchair to ’stand up’. ‘Stand up and let the people see you’. After it became clear to Biden what he had done the response was ‘Oh God love ya’ and ‘what am I talking about’? Nice job, Joe Biden handlers, you’re about as effective as any other Dems plan.

From George McCain to Barack America, to himself as running for President, to calling his wife drop dead gorgeous, swapping brigades for batallions and calling a Governor a Lt Governor, Biden is a mess that his handlers call someone voters can relate to as real or like them. Nice job insulting any voter with a brain. If that is the case how do you expect your elitist Presidential candidate to relate to the voters? As with any situation lately explained by the liberals this one makes no sense either. When they step in crap they claim it is okay because it is high quality crap.

Those who have known Biden for a long time say they see him as a man with an equally big heart and mouth.

“He has overwhelming support here, he’s well liked,” said James Baker, mayor of Wilmington, Delaware, Biden’s home. “We forgive him every once in a while when he says something dumb - ‘Oh, that’s just Joe.”‘

And this is the man the Democratic party believes is the answer to foreign policy for Barack Obama. Worse yet, they think this is the answer to foreign policy for the rest of us. Between appeasement Obama and slip of the tongue Biden the US would be one step away from surrendering in a war we were not in or starting one from a Biden gaffe to a not so forgiving foreign power.
