Ah, yes, a little scotch and water to ease the pain. I have to get a real copy of the 1000 plus page healthcare scam. Need to research the claim I echoed here about employer plans. I took the risk that it is true but need to follow up. More than I can say for the POLS that won't read it but vote on it.

We have to keep reminding ourselves that this is the price of freedom. We have to keep up the battle with the weapons available to us regardless of how powerless they may make us feel. There will be victory and there wil be losses. As long as on balance the outcome saves our great nation then it is all worthwhile and confirms the notion that this republic and two century plus experiment in democracy is successful, again.

Thanks for stoppin' in Maggie and the commentary. My ice has melted, be back later.

I'm thinking it will be only lint in our pockets. I expect every single Republican to vote against Sotomayor on principle, and I am prepared to be sadly disappointed. Lindsay Graham, after his cheeky camera face-time says she is "generally in the mainstream." I can think of not a single thing that qualifies her as mainstream. I would like to sock him. My own Senator Coburn will likely vote for her, and help her move against the 2nd Amendment.

These confirmations are a joke. The day a U.S. Senator queries and believes her, when there are hundreds of thousands of her own quotes and decisions available, to the contrary is, is a dark, dark day for conservatism.

I read that Obama is thinking of taking over the home mortgages of the jobless and letting them pay the gov't back. What about the jobless who owns no home. They'll want their's too, and will probably get it.

Healthcare is the single scariest thing in the world next to Iran, right now. I'm believing that a fair number of Democrats will not let this happen. I'm also believing that I'd better worry about RINO's who just might let it happen.
