Visa Fraud and a Convicted Lawyer
You don’t have to look very hard to find websites catering to the immigration business. That’s right. The immigration business is just another example of trends in this country that have nothing to do with legitimate immigration. Much greed has developed beyond the intentions of many prospective immigrants, sponsors and other proponents.
Go figure. Lawyers are not exempt from the sickness of greed that produces criminal behavior. Some effort has been made to stem the colossal increases in visa fraud and other immigration crimes. Yet another aspect of immigration problems that corporate America does not want to discuss. Neither do the less than admirable foreigners entering this country or those who assist them in these crimes.
Then there is the double down with those who immigrated, apparently became legal citizens only to earn the right to practice law who turned to crime in the very process that allowed them entry to this country. Adding to that the audacity to charge customers as much as $60,000.00 for the pleasure.
The article referenced here is just such a story. An immigrant who became a lawyer and has been sentenced for conspiracy and fraud in the immigration process. Read on.
