I think we have a hope to avoid the health care disaster - maybe just a glimmer of hope. I think there is no such glimmer for illegal immigration.

Some say Obama’s agenda is too ambitious. The Dems are divided on many issues and the GOP is still taking on water. Polling has been showing the public is not at ease with government meddling or the continuation of spending and increasing debt. For instance, crap and tax may die in the Senate although I’m not holding my breath.
But I would say, right now, the odds of the left getting everything they want is well below 50/50. 2010 is real close and I suspect everyone’s getting a little nervous and may want to avoid risk and delay some of this until after the elections.
