Women in Politics: Sen Feinstein’s America

Sen FeinsteinI believe it was last year when Senator Diane Feinstein and others from California suggested that state get an exemption for their agricultural industry and allow the State of California to maintain an illegal immigrant workforce of one and a half million people. Along with allegations that she has a conflict of interest in the awarding of military contracts due to her husband’s involvement in defense contracting, her lack of support for the troops as indicated in the previous post and this particular piece of legislation, it seems Senator Diane Feinstein is more concerned about other countries than her own.

By all means, introduce a bill to ‘ improve opportunity, benefit and security for aliens.’ There was a report that when fences were being installed along the border between Mexico and California that illegal crossing decreased in California but increased in neighboring states. But don’t worry Diane, it will just take them a bit longer to reach California so your bill won’t go to waste. Hell, even the current President of Mexico has been published in the media admitting he has relatives who are here illegally. And yet people favoring effective border control and strict immigration enforcement receive complaints that they are unfairly focusing on Mexican illegal immigration.

14. S.237 : A bill to improve agricultural job opportunities, benefits, and security for aliens in the United States and for other purposes.
Sponsor: Sen Feinstein, Dianne [CA] (introduced 1/10/2007) Cosponsors (10)
Committees: Senate Judiciary
Latest Major Action: 1/10/2007 Referred to Senate committee. Status: Read twice and referred to the Committee on the Judiciary.

I only saw Mexican flags in the allow illegal immigration protests in May of 2006. I only see discussions of border control to prevent illegal immigration in reference to the US Mexican Border. I only see concerns about illegal immigration mention the border states of Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California.

As a matter of national defense, security and the practical matters of uncontrolled immigration that place undue burden on the nation’s ability to manage excessive increases in population, strict border and immigration policy and laws are absolutely necessary no matter how much they inconvenience those who wish to come to this country and those who profit by exploiting illegal practices.

And contrary to the stated beliefs of some illegal immigrants, those who support border control and immigration enforcement want all illegal immigration corrected and prevented. It would be ridiculous to only want some illegal immigration to be corrected or prevented. It would be pointless. All illegal immigration needs to be corrected and prevented. That means illegals leave and no future illegal immigration allowed; end of story.
